A chance encounter with a spiritual, almost magical person at Avebury this winter, led to a very generous sharing of their abilities and I experienced the very special energy that is held in the earth at this ancient place.
'Approaching Avebury' has many layers of paint beneath the surface building up to a final top layer that vibrates with colour inspired by the energy of the earth.
An intuitive landscape of the roads and ancient trackways used for thousands of years to journey to this special place.
I create these paintings by adding layer, upon layer of paint. I use many different techniques to apply the paint and as well as scratching down with various tools to reveal layers underneath.
My paintings are full of meaning and filled with colour, love and joy.
The painting is acyrlic on board 30 x 30 cm. This painting is framed in a professionally made large white tray frame and signed on the back.
