Landscape, mixed media paintings are created by adding many layers of colour using a technique akin to traditional impressionist methods. Landscapes begin with a real location responded to over many layers, until it encompasses the essence of place, becoming an imagined landscape.

I have grand plans to paint 100 trees in different seasons and from worldwide locations.  No matter where the tree, the species is identifiable, yet no two trees are the same: like people they are a product of their circumstances.  All different, yet the same.
