This extra large stunning stained glass mosaic cross is handmade and unique. Created from beautiful shades of blue, white and silver stained glass. It’s a decorative piece ready to hang indoors on the wall and is a lovely modern religious gift.
To create this unique mosaic cross I used stained glass pieces in beautiful shades. I’ve incorporated stained and iridescent glass and millefiori creating beautiful detail.
The materials I use are of different heights, adding to the finished texture of the piece. Some of the glass I use is vintage and hand made so some of the pieces have uneven surfaces.
The cross is grouted with a black coloured grout.
I am mindful of the environment throughout the creation process and any waste is kept to an absolute minimum.
The cross is painted bronze on the reverse, signed and ready to hang. Because of the wooden mdf base this piece needs to be displayed indoors away from excessive moisture.
The cross measures approximately 30cm x 20cm x 4.5cm and 1cm deep.
