Capturing a fleeting moment in time
'Golden Gloaming' sparkles with the final long, lingering rays of light that caress the land before the sun moves on and darkness begins to fall.
Gloaming is a poetic term for twilight, or the time of day when it's getting dark but not quite dark yet.
It sounds melancholy to me, as though the land is already yearning for the sun, its lover, to return.
I create these paintings by adding layer, upon layer of paint.  I use many different techniques to apply the paint and as well as scratching down with various tools to reveal layers underneath.
 
My paintings are full of meaning and filled with colour, love and joy.
 
The painting is acyrlic on board 30 x 30 cm. This painting is framed in a professionally made large white tray frame and signed on the back.
 
I carefully wrap and despatch orders as soon as possible and send via a signed for service.
