'Jaguar Moon'
Inspired by the mystical jaguar believed by ancient Meixcan civilisations to pace between worlds because of it's excellent night vision.
It was said that it was made of the stars and the earth, while holding the magic of the moonlight. It was held that the patterns of the Jaguar's fur represented the constellations in the night sky.
A powerful spirit animal who is the gatekeeper between worlds. The jaguar can open the way to the mystical and has the ability to bring strength and courage.
I create these paintings by adding layer, upon layer of paint. I use many different techniques to apply the paint, as well as scratching down with various tools to reveal layers underneath.
My abstracts are full of meaning and filled with colour, love and joy.
