Dogen said"When you paint Spring, do not paint willows, plums, peaches, or apricots, but just paint Spring. To paint willows, plums, peaches, or apricots - it is not yet painting Spring."
I create these paintings by adding layer, upon layer of paint. I use many different techniques to apply the paint and as well as scratching down with various tools to reveal layers underneath.
My abstracts are full of meaning and filled with colour, love and joy.
The painting is acyrlic on wood panel. Signed on the reverse together with a written description. Waxed finish 30 x 30 cm
This painting is framed in a black floating frame measuring 35 x 35 x 6cm.
