'Taking Flight'
Forget Me Not Diptych on Love, Loss and Healing.
Love and loss, it's impossible to experience one without the other. A myriad of meanings within each mark: The Dharma Wheel; the crosses - kisses, but also the sign of an error; lines, ladders and the passage of time. The flight of the bird - the heights of love, loss and healing.
I create these paintings by adding layer, upon layer of paint. I use many different techniques to apply the paint and as well as scratching down with various tools to reveal layers underneath.
The painting is acyrlic on wood panel with a protective waxed finish. 30 x 30 cm
This painting is framed in a white floating frame measuring 35 x 35 cm. If you'd prefer a professionally made white tray frame instead, measuring 45 x 45 cm, this can be upgraded for an additional cost (please contact me).
