Mixed media paintings are created by adding many layers of colour using a technique akin to traditional impressionist methods.

 

Landscapes begin with a real location responded to over many layers, until it encompasses the essence of place, becoming an imagined landscape.

Tulips are my favourite flowers and I love to abstract them intuitively.

I have a fascination with trees, each individual and products of their environment, much like people.
